When you submit a free listing or place a bid, we store the name, link, optional description, and email address you provide, along with which category it’s in. We don’t require an account or a password for either.
When someone clicks through to a listing, we count that click against the listing so free-tier ranking and the “verified clicks” number next to paid listings are real. We don’t log who clicked, just that a click happened.
To stop spam and abuse on the submission and bidding forms, we temporarily store a one-way hash of your IP address, not the IP address itself, tied to a timestamp. This is used only to rate-limit repeated submissions and is not linked to your listing or identity.
We don’t use tracking cookies, ad pixels, or third-party analytics. We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.
Paid bids are processed entirely by DodoPayments, who act as the merchant of record for these transactions. We never see or store your card details. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, the amount, and a payment reference from Dodo, and use that to lock in the week’s winner. Dodo’s own privacy policy covers what they collect to process the payment itself.
Listing and bid records are kept for as long as the service is running, so past winners and the board’s history stay intact. If you want your listing or email removed, email us and we’ll take it down.
